Whenever you have ordered a virtual office address from Unicount you might be wondering what is your exact registered office address in Estonia and how to write it.

Currently, there are two different addresses that Unicount provides to its clients.

To check which one you have visit Estonian Business Register and type in your company name or 8-digit registry code. Clicking on your company name would then open the company general details including your registered office address.

Generally, all companies registered via Unicount from 1 September 2021 have the new address, Veskiposti 2-1002, Tallinn 10138. This is also our office address.

Veskiposti 2-1002, Tallinn 10138

The official version from the Estonian address system (In-ADS) displayed in the government information systems would look like this:

Harju maakond, Tallinn, Kesklinna linnaosa, Veskiposti 2-1002, 10138

This is also what you see in our automated virtual office subscription emails as it is the official version.

You would also have the same address on any official documents such as your registration certificate.

Some parts of your official address are not essential for everyday use though.

For example:

Harju maakond - this is the name of the county where Tallinn belongs to

Kesklinna linnaosa - this is the name of the district in Tallinn

Estonians generally do not use county and district names when sending mail to Tallinn and these are not seen as compulsory parts of addresses located in cities.

So when you type your address to Google Maps as Veskiposti 2-1002, it would still show the correct location and all the mail addressed to it would be delivered just as well.

Depending on the service you might sometimes need to enter your company registered office address details with your county and district though.

Generally you are free to use the shorter and more convenient version, which works as good with most of the services (including Estonian In-ADS search):

Veskiposti 2-1002, Tallinn 10138

So this is your address which your can use, while adding your company name in front of the address, for example, "MyCompany OÜ, Veskiposti 2-1002, Tallinn 10138".

Tammsaare tee 47, Tallinn 11316

The official version from the Estonian address system (In-ADS) displayed in the government information systems would look like this:

Harju maakond, Tallinn, Kristiine linnaosa, A. H. Tammsaare tee 47, 11316

You would also have the same address on official documents such as your registration certificate.

Some parts of your official address are not essential in everyday use though.

For example:

Harju maakond - this is the name of the county where Tallinn belongs to

Kristiine linnaosa - this is the name of the district in Tallinn

A. H. - A. H. Tammsaare tee is the official name of the street named after the Estonian writer, A and H stand for his forenames

Estonians generally do not use county and district names when sending mail to Tallinn and these are not seen as compulsory parts of addresses located in cities.

We also use Tammsaare tee without a reference to our beloved writer's forenames.

Anton Hansen Tammsaare is Estonia’s greatest literary writer. His novel, Truth and Justice, is available for free in English here, courtesy of the National Library of Estonia.

So when you type your address to Google Maps as Tammsaare tee 47, 11316 Tallinn it would still show the correct location and all the mail addressed to it would be delivered just as well.

Depending on the service you might sometimes need to enter your company registered office address details with your county and district though.

Generally, you are free to use the shorter and more convenient version, which works as good with most of the services (including Estonian In-ADS search):

Tammsaare tee 47, 11316 Tallinn
